Terms of Service

1. Definitions

"User"

means a person requesting collection of eligible containers.

"Collector"

means a person who accepts and performs a collection request.

"Eligible Containers"

means beverage containers eligible under the applicable container deposit scheme (CDS) rules in the relevant jurisdiction.

"Service Request"

means a pickup request submitted through the App.

2. The Services

Recycled AF provides a coordination platform that enables Users to create Service Requests and enables Collectors to accept and complete those requests. Recycled AF does not provide waste disposal services. Collectors return Eligible Containers through approved channels and keep 100% of the related CDS refund value. Recycled AF never holds, splits, deducts, or takes any percentage of the container deposit/refund. Recycled AF earns only from platform service fees and subscriptions, which are shown before confirmation.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services as a Collector. Users should be 13+ (or the minimum age required by law).

4. Requests, Acceptance, Completion, and Evidence

• A Service Request is not confirmed until a Collector accepts it (or the platform allocates it).
• Completion may require evidence (e.g., photo/scan/QR code, timestamps, geolocation, and/or confirmation steps) to mitigate disputes and misuse.
• Recycled AF may suspend or reverse records where evidence indicates fraud, misuse, or non-completion.

5. Fees and Payments

Recycled AF may charge coordination/service fees (for example, a flat per-pickup collector fee, or commercial pickup fees). Fees, if any, will be displayed before confirmation. Payments may be processed by third-party processors.

6. Collector Obligations (Operational and Compliance)

• Comply with applicable laws, road rules, workplace safety, and CDS rules.
• Do not collect from a User address without an in-app accepted/allocated Service Request.
• Use the App workflow for acceptance, navigation, and completion where required (including evidence capture).

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Bypassing the App to harvest addresses, solicit pickups off-platform, or complete pickups without a Service Request.
• Misrepresenting completion evidence, location, or container quantities.
• Reverse engineering or attempting to compromise the App or back-end systems.
• Harassment or unsafe conduct toward Users, Collectors, or the public.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, platform, branding, and content are owned by Recycled AF and/or licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the App for its intended purpose.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is". Recycled AF does not guarantee that a Collector will accept a Service Request or that any specific outcomes will be achieved. Nothing in these Terms excludes Australian Consumer Law guarantees that cannot be excluded.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach, fraud, safety risk, or legal compliance. You may stop using the Services at any time.

12. Disputes

Disputes should be raised through in-app support. We may request evidence. For unresolved disputes, parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation before court proceedings, where permitted.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated within the App or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
